The first installment of this popular summer occasion kicks off on Tuesday, July 16th, and will continue weekly until August 20th. The event showcases food and beer pairings from the award-winning Stein Collection culinary team led by Vice President of Food and Beverage and Corporate Chef Zane Holmquist. It also features local breweries and food from local farmers. Each event will begin at 6:00 PM, rain or shine, and guests can come and go as they please.

Hops on the Hill has been running for about ten years, and the format has mainly stayed the same, emphasizing offering guests a fun dining option, a great chance to network, and a lovely summer evening. Hops is the perfect post-Deer Valley mountain biking activity, an excellent way to wrap up a day of golfing with friends, an easy-going way to wind down after spending a summer day at the pool, or even a fun date night idea. The event is not exclusive to hotel guests, but snagging a room for the night is always a great idea. This is a ticketed event. Tickets get you access to the food, brews, and company. For non-drinkers, food-only tickets are also available.

This event intentionally shows a more relaxed, casual side of Stein Eriksen Lodge. Many know the lodge as a place for special occasions and fine dining, and the culinary team wanted to show a more casual side, which this event does perfectly with both the food options and the outdoor ambiance with the incredible Deer Valley views. Summer nights on the Flagstaff Deck are stunning, with excellent mountain air, no bugs, great views, gorgeous sunsets, and so on.

The event is also slightly more intimate than other beer festivals or events. The goal is to eliminate waiting in lines and to allow guests to have fun, interesting conversations with the chefs, brewers, and other guests.
