BOBSLED - Distance: 10.6 MILES
Experience a true thrill of a lifetime while riding the 2002 Olympic bobsled track during the summer or winter months. For the summer season, the bobsleds are slightly modified to glide along the track's concrete surface and reach speeds up to 60 mph in less than a minute. The winter experience is a faster, shorter ride as speeds can reach up to 75+ mph.
DOG SLEDDING - Distance: 15.7 MILES
This is a unique adventure for the whole family. Glide through the snow-covered Wasatch and Uinta mountain ranges while being pulled by a team of overachieving Huskies. Children and adults alike love meeting all of the friendly sled dogs and the future racing pups. SCENIC DRIVES: DISTANCE: 5.1 MILES
Park City boasts natural beauty with gorgeous 360-degree views from almost any point in this mountain town. If you are looking to get out and drive the backcountry, there are several options within minutes of our location.
Guardsman Pass Scenic Backway connects Park City to Brighton Resort and drops into the Salt Lake Valley or to Midway in Heber Valley. The road surface is paved most of the way with sections of maintained gravel during the summer months. Once atop the 9,700-foot peak, you will have majestic mountain and valley vistas in all directions. Plan for a couple of hours to do the full round-trip route.
Mirror Lake Scenic Byway is one of Utah's most famous and scenic roads. Beginning in Kamas, a short 18-minute drive from the Lodge, the road snakes through the tree-laden Uinta Mountains, past numerous lakes and streams, peaks at an elevation of roughly 10,700 feet and descends into Evanston, Wyoming. Be sure to stop at Provo River Falls for a rest, some sightseeing, and maybe a picnic. Plan for a couple of hours to do an out and back trip. Add in additional time for a hike along any of the numerous trails along the route.
